The aMUnation Book Drive for the benefit of Payatas Grade School and High School youth is currently in full swing, as dropboxes were stationed in key college lobbies throughout the UP Manila campus. If your books are collecting dust and taking up precious space in your homes, take them to our dropboxes to not only see the light of day but also the light of beaming, eager eyes and minds, waiting to read, enjoy, and learn.Proud partners in our mission of uplifting the condition of education beginning in urban yet marginalized communities are the UP Manila Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Public Health, and Arts and Sciences. The Book Drive will run the entire aMUnation week, from March 9 to 13, 2009, with the Turnover to be held on March 13. A collaboration with the 20 PESO LAPTOP Raffle provides for 1 complimentary raffle ticket for every 4 books donated. Give the gift of a lasting legacy.
